ParticipantYou may only take out one bike at a time with a Founding Member or Monthly Pass. However, you can take out up to four bikes at a time when purchasing Walk-up trips at the station kiosk or app.

- You can activate your Founding Member or Monthly Pass online here. Use your email address and password to login, and then type the pass number on the activation menu.
- You can also activate your pass by contacting customer service at 1-844-97B-MORE (1-844-972-6673).

ParticipantYes, after you register you can use the system right away by virtually unlocking a bike with the App. Just download the Baltimore Bike Share App and login. Next, choose the unlock option and input the bike number located under the steering post directly beneath the handlebar.
You can also use your Founding Member or Monthly Pass to unlock a bike once it arrives in the mail and you activate the card via the website or app.

ParticipantYes, you can walk-up and use the system per trip by paying at the kiosk or the App. Pricing can be found on the pricing page.

ParticipantNo. Founding Member and Monthly Passes are only valid for their registered users. Because passes are connected to your identification and payment information, you will be held responsible for any incidents that occur under the account. Founding Member and Monthly Passes are non-transferrable, and cannot be shared with another user.

ParticipantSingle-Trip users can check out one or more bikes with their credit card. Baltimore Bike Share reserves a $35.00 per bike pre-authorization hold for the duration of your Single-Trip pass to ensure that the system is used adequately. The pre-authorization release differs depending on your bank (can take up to 7-10 business days to be released from the bank). Check with your bank for more details.

ParticipantYou can ride anywhere in the city as long as you remain within the system area. You can check the designated area on the Baltimore Bike Share map, website, App or kiosk. If you leave the area you might be charged a fee.
